What’s the difference between “fibre broadband” and full fibre?

Much of what’s sold as fibre broadband is actually fibre to the street cabinet, then copper to your building (FTTC or SoGEA). Full fibre (FTTP) is fibre all the way, which is why it’s faster and more consistent.

Will installation disrupt the business?

Usually very little. The install itself is typically a few hours, and we schedule the switch-over of your services for a quiet time.

Do we still need a backup connection?

If being offline would stop you trading, yes. Full fibre is reliable, but no single line can protect you from roadworks or an outage. A 4G/5G backup is inexpensive insurance.

Is full fibre better than a leased line?

For most small offices, full fibre offers the best value. A leased line makes sense when you need guaranteed, symmetrical bandwidth and fast, contractual fix times.
