Sometimes the right advice is “your current set-up is fine” or “stay with your existing provider, but ask them for these three things”. We give that advice when it’s true. A consultant who recommends the same solution for every client isn’t really consulting.
Every engagement ends with a written report in plain English, with priorities, costs and a clear recommendation, whether you act on it with us, with someone else or on your own.

How is IT consultancy priced?
Audits and projects are quoted as a fixed fee after an initial conversation. Part-time IT director support is a monthly retainer. You’ll know the cost before we start.
Can you review our current IT provider without them knowing?
We can review much from the outside and from what you can access. A fuller audit usually needs their cooperation, which most good providers are happy to give.
Do we have to move our support to you afterwards?
No. The report is yours, and you can act on it however you like.
What size of business is consultancy for?
Mostly businesses with roughly 5 to 100 staff: big enough for IT decisions to matter, but not big enough to employ a full-time IT director.
